What We've Done

  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements can be reached and used without a mouse
  • Color contrast — Text and background colors are chosen to meet contrast minimums
  • Alternative text — Images include descriptive alt text where the image conveys meaning
  • Responsive design — Pages reflow and remain usable when zoomed up to 200% or viewed on smaller screens
  • No auto-playing audio or motion with surprising movement
  • Descriptive link text that makes sense when read out of context

What We're Still Working On

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a finish line. We know there's more to do, including:

  • Auditing older content (especially images carried over from previous platforms) for complete alt text coverage
  • Improving captions and transcripts for video and podcast content
  • Continuing to test with screen readers and other assistive technologies
